Bright images such as this one are referred to as “high-key.” This one is white and bright yellow, which evokes a light, uplifting feeling. The white in the top left and bottom right balances and frames the yellow perspective lines flowing from the center and the single water drop at the bottom left. Despite an aperture of f/22, the image is not completely sharp. As magnification becomes greater, depth of field becomes much less possible, even at the higher f-stops.
